Change is here now for the Hood River County Library.

County financial support ends June 30, 2010. The County Board of Commissioners voted Sept. 8, 2009, to close the library system if voters reject a May 2010 ballot measure to create a separate taxing district. The voters did reject the district.

This site is organized and maintained by the Save Our Library PAC. It contains information about the library system, its history, finances and the options for re-opening and preserving the libraries of Hood River, Cascade Locks, and Parkdale.
